Modern Graphic Abstract, Impressionist, Digital
I am excited about all my paintings. I am confidant people will feel
the energy I have in each piece. I have new works each month so visit
my site to view my latest paintings. The Abstract Paintings are unique, I have not found any thing like them on web-sites I have visited so far. I spend a lot of time with details on every work. Enjoy!
Capturing Natures Designs
Nature has always influenced all aspects of my artwork. From mountain landscapes to the smallest flower, nature has become the teacher. Having a background in graphic art has helped me in expressing my works in the Modern (Graphic) Abstract style. Nature has balance in her repetition of designs, as well as the impressive colors and contrasts, which I express in my work.
My painting styles range from Impressionist to what I call Modern Graphic Abstract or Modern Art and Digital Designs.
The Impressionist Style allows me to express nature as flowing strokes of color intergrading movement with shadows and light. The energy around these paintings are soft and flowing with bold to fine brush stroke.
I will have flowers, clouds, and people in this style.
The Modern Graphic Abstract brings in bold colors and striking edges with hard or soft curves. Like in nature my simplest designs makes a bold statement. The use of overlapping shape and color creates a visual movement of depth that can inspire the viewer.
Several paintings have a 3-D affect. The way I layer the paint allows
the viewers to step into an affect that I have not seen in other works.
All through it is difficult to view this 3-D affect some of the detailed views may give you an idea.
I am currently adding to my inventory of Abstracts for a future show in
March 2009. This show will have several new works. The paintings will
not be for sale until the time of the show in March since I will be
displaying them in a local gallery in Fort Collins, more info will
follow as March approaches.
As I mentioned several works are on hold for a show in March 2009. I will be showing them at a gallery in Fort Collins at www.theCollectiveGallery.com .
Lumira Prints & Giclee prints are available, please check pricing while viewing works.
Thanks for your patience.
The Digital Art is a great way to use my graphic skills.
All digital work is sized 30"x30" on Lumira paper.
I hope graphic lovers enjoy the designs.
Acrylic is my choice of medium. My past’s works have been small, but currently I have moved to larger (30’x30’) to (30”x40”) sizes. I feel comfortable working with this size canvas and may try my hand in larger sizes.
I do not want to be limited to just one style, no artist should be. The energy that comes from the inner spirit is too strong for limits, its creativity. People that are creative, in whatever medium, deserve the space to express them self.
If you are interested in reproductions or originals please contact me.
May you enjoy viewing my work.
